RAF Cosford tournament 03/11/18
An amazing day for our Regional team at the RAF Cosford tournament. We only went and won it! A disappointing loss in our first match. The girls then played so well they beat Wasps, Severn Stars and many other regional teams to be the Tournament winners. Congratulations girls.
New! Back to netball sessions Summer 2019
We are organising weekly pay and play Summer Netball sessions at Stockland Green Sports Hall beginning on Wednesday 10th May 7-8pm. These are for new netballers, back to netballers and mothers and daughters. £4 per session or two people together for £7. Come and get fit and have fun!! Coaching opportunities at Sutton Royals Netball Club from September 2020
Location: Stockland Green School, Slade Road, Birmingham B23 7JH
Hours: Tuesday and/or Thursday 6-9pm or 7-9pm.
Sutton Royals Netball Club is committed to offering opportunities to players of all abilities and in order to offer places to those on the club waiting list we need more coaches. We are looking for qualified level 1 or 2 coaches to join our established and experienced coaching team who are passionate about sharing their love of netball and enabling our club members to become the best netballers they can. We also welcome those new to coaching and can offer support to those wanting to undertake further training.
Coaches joining our team would be expected to:
- Plan, deliver and review training sessions when qualified and assist in such sessions as part of their coaching training
- Assist in team selection and attend matches as required
- Take part in quarterly coaching team meetings
Skills required:
- Excellent communication skills across all age groups, including players and parents
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods for different ages and abilities
- A working knowledge of netball
- Coaches receive expenses according to level of qualification
