We have a team of talented, dedicated and enthusiastic coaches with the qualifications and experience to help our members fulfil their netball potential:
Level 2 Qualified Coaches
Ann O Rourke – Head Coach
I have been coaching netball for over 35 years and have achieved success at National Championship level including 3 titles with Under 16 teams. I have also coached current and ex International senior players. However, my real interest and passion is in encouraging all players to develop their skills and a love for netball which they can continue throughout their lives. I continue to play, although it is now Walking Netball!
I have many years of experience coaching at Regional Level with both juniors and seniors but my main drive is the game itself. I am a very passionate and enthusiastic coach who looks to get the best netball out of all players no matter what their starting ability. I enjoy nothing more than seeing these individuals thrive and develop regardless of what level they are playing.
I have 20 years of experience of coaching teams in the Midlands region. My passion is working with junior players to develop their skills so that they reach their true potential and compete at the highest possible level for their ability. Equally important is seeing the girls enjoying the benefits of participating regularly in a team sport and forming friendships that will continue through to senior netball.
I love everything about this exciting sport. Relatively new to coaching I continue to play regularly representing England’s male team at both netball and nets (5 a side netball). Playing elite level gives me an insight into the latest coaching techniques and game management which I am then able to pass on to our squads at training. Seeing our teams bring new skills on court during a game is hugely satisfying.
Level 1 Qualified Coaches
Ann Marie Maylor, Dianne Harris & Adam Garrad
Our Level 1 coaches support the junior section of the club assisting at both training at match days. Ann Marie and Dianne have both played netball to a high standard and have great experience to pass to our junior members. Adam, also a qualified FA coach, gained his Level 1 in 2016 and is an assistant coach with the Club’s under 14 age group.
